“One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.” – Henry Miller
You don’t have to wait to go on vacation to explore a new town. A day trip doesn’t have to be hours away, why not a half-hour trip? Sometimes you find the best places in your own proverbial backyard. Lately, when I get that wanderlust itch, I throw on something colorful, and visit a nearby town. The best part is finding a new favorite place that you can visit again and again.
A Few things to do in San Pedro Art’s District
- First Thursdays Art Walk
- Check out the historical buildings: The Danish Castle, The Dodson House, The Arcade Building
- Grab a beer at San Pedro Brewing Company
- Warner Grand Theatre, a beautiful Art Deco theatre that opened in 1931
