After a long weekend of fun, (two destination weddings in one weekend!) I naturally had to squeeze in one more outing. Seven Magic Mountains is a site specific, public sculpture. This artwork’s bold colors are a beautiful contrast against the natural desert landscape. It really pops out from the drab colors of the desert. Towering at 32 feet tall, these colorful rocks are breathtaking. Ugo Rondinone is mixed-media Swiss born artist with sculptural artworks all over the world. It was definitely a sight to see!

When it’s 93°F in the middle of the desert, I don’t now about you, but I want to wear as little clothing as possible. The hard part is keeping it cute. I decided on a DIY crop top with high waisted shorts and fun pom pom sandals. I chose a high necked top to compensate for all the leg I was showing. I’m really feeling this tassel trend so naturally I finished off the look with tassel earrings and fun sunglasses.

Seven Magic Mountains will be up until May 2018, so there’s still time to check it out! It’s about 30 minutes south of Las Vegas, the perfect added bonus!
